You want to spike your blog traffic? Get Jordon Cooper to link to one of your posts. I was looking over my past week’s traffic and saw a significant spike. I looked closer and saw a buncha buncha traffic came from this post by Jordon. So, my friends who regularly ask me about boosting blog traffic, commence the patronage of our friend in the Great White North. Jordon will talk all things politics. He’s an Olympic-class hockey fan who also blogs at Hockey Pundits. He’s a reasonable debater on all sorts of social justice issues. Bonus points if you weave the Alberta Sands or Air Canada into whatever you are discussing. He’s got a beautiful wife, Wendy, who has an extensive recipe collection at her other blog, The Cooking Blog. His son Mark is a great kid. What else? The guy has patiently listened to and reflected upon my pro-Bush theories for a couple of years now (TOTALLY UNRELATED: I just remembered this: It made me laugh out loud: Yesterday I was driving in some Pasadena neighborhood and rolled up to a stop sign. I looked at the red stop sign itself. Under the prominent letters S-T-O-P someone had put a bumper sticker that said “bush” – get it? Stop Bush. Minimalist, yet engaging.)
