I wish

This is a photo of Jeremy Del Rio as a little boy with his father (right) and grandfather (left). Jeremy’s grandfather just went home to Jesus. This is a moving photo. I wish I had a father and a grandfather like Jeremy does, and I wish I had had them my entire life. I have neither, never have. For most of my life I actually felt bitterness toward people like Jeremy who had their extended family. God has been doing healing in me, and I’m now able to celebrate with Jeremy, and to be grateful for how my Heavenly Father has filled in the gaps in my broken family line with men who love him and are investing in to me.
